
This course will focus on how you can make your garden more sustainable, from reducing water wastage, the importance of soil, creating your own compost, pots, seed saving, growing your own vegetables and ways to increase biodiversity in the garden and support the variety of life. Each session will explore the environmental issues with discussion around the changes your can make within your garden. Join Lauren Kendrick, trained in permaculture, veganic methods and education, founder of Flourish Peterborough and previous Grower for this engaging and practical learning experience. All resources will be provided before each course.
The course takes place online and will move to in person if possible, starting on Thursday 8th April, 10am – 12.45pm. The 6 sessions are on 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th April and 6th, 13th May.
